Mike Hailwood Surtees TS9B - F1 Racing Car 1972 - Collectable Formula 1 Model Car - 1:43 Scale. Designed by John Surtees and Peter Connew. The car was powered a Ford Cosworth DFV 2993cc V8, mid-mounted engine. The car used an aluminium monocoque chassis with engine as a fully stressed member. This model is approved and licenced by F1. This listing is for a Brand-New model in a Factory-Sealed and Un-opened blister-card box. This model in die-cast metal, a mini masterpiece of model engineering, surprisingly realistic and positioned on a stretch of track chicane. The model is perfect in every tiny detail of the original single-seater: livery, colours, decals, driver’s name, aerodynamic appendages, engines and mechanical parts, right down to the detailing in the cockpit – including the steering wheel, seat and even the seatbelts.
